MMILE – Mobility, Maritime and Logistics Innovation Ecosystem – has been launched as a new Nordic collaboration platform for organisations working across mobility, maritime operations, and logistics. The ecosystem is built to respond to a clear need in the market: many of the challenges facing transport systems today cannot be solved by one company, one authority, or one technology provider alone. They require cooperation across value chains, sectors, and national borders.

By bringing together industry, research organisations, public stakeholders, and international partners, MMILE creates a neutral arena for innovation, piloting, and scaling real-world solutions. The ecosystem helps its members identify shared challenges, build project consortia, develop new solutions, and move from ideas into demonstrations and practical implementation. This makes MMILE not only a network, but a structured platform for action.

Built under DIMECC in Norway, MMILE aims to unite fragmented actors and strengthen Nordic competitiveness in the future transport landscape. Its focus is on systems that are sustainable, secure, efficient, and resilient. The ecosystem supports the green transition by helping organisations develop smarter mobility and logistics solutions, while also addressing societal needs such as security of supply, operational continuity, and preparedness in critical infrastructure.

The launch of MMILE marks the beginning of a long-term effort to connect every mile more seamlessly and sustainably. Through collaboration, shared learning, and concrete projects, MMILE provides a foundation for building the next generation of mobility, maritime, and logistics systems.
