MMILE is Mobility, Maritime and Logistics Innovation ecosystem initiated through DIMECC collaboration, — built to move bold ideas from the lab into the real world, on land, at sea and in the air.
MMILE was established because mobility and logistics challenges cannot be solved by single actors alone.
There are six main reasons why MMILE is needed: Growing demand for automated services, fragmented systems, changing purchasing patterns, increased requirements for societal security and preparedness, the need for faster green transformation, and the need for more trust between actors to unlock the potential of integrated systems.
Today, strong transport environments exist in separate sectors, but MMILE addresses the need for a multimodal arena where actors can work across road, sea and air.
MMILE is a neutral facilitator and initiator. Mmile services are designed to support member companies in developing integrated, scalable and commercially relevant mobility and logistics solutions.
MMILE connects every mile — seamlessly and sustainably
MMILE’s mission is to bring together a fragmented ecosystem to create robust, safe and sustainable mobility systems that support green transition, strengthen societal security and build international competitiveness.
